Deepawali |
“Deepawali is celebrated as Lord Rama’s homecoming. Ra which means Light/ Radiance & Ma means Inner/Me. Therefore Rama means ‘inner radiance’. When you realise the light within yourself, you are home. Conflict is only possible with opposites. This space is beyond conflict, unconquerable (Ayodhya). Rejoice in this space and have a very Happy Diwali”. - Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji. Deepawali celebration at Ashram started with Ashramites cleaning up and decorating their workspace and residential premises. Vishalakshi Mantap was beautifully lit with 100’s of diyas and decorated with flower-rangolis. Diwali special Lakshmi Puja was performed at Vishalakshi Mantap followed by Live-webcast of Satsang from Gujarat. Diwali special delicious Prasadam was served to everyone at Bangalore Ashram. This year thousands joined the Diwali celebration at Vasad Ashram, Palanpur, Jamnagar in Gujarat and Mumbai in Maharashtra with Gurudev. |
